Restore Hope was going to clear an Army Veteran’s backyard when they discovered several serious issues with his home. It had no running water, no heating or air conditioning, and suffered from severe structural problems. Restore Hope made structural repairs to the foundation, installed heating and air, outfitted the home with electrical wiring and plumbing, added insulation to the walls, installed a new roof and gutters, built a new kitchen and bathroom, added windows, installed flooring and drywall, and replaced exterior siding and gutter boards. The completed project totaled $70,000 in donated labor and materials.
